QAD Business Support Engineer (#2527)

Location: Athens, TX
onsite 3 days a week remote 2 days

The QAD Business Support Engineer at our client’s organization will be responsible for identifying technical and business solutions and assisting in their implementation, in collaboration with other IT staff and functional business units. This role involves close cooperation with onsite technical consultants, service providers, and personnel to successfully deploy system solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders globally to analyze and comprehend business needs, processes to be automated, objectives, desired features, and input/output requirements.
• Provide support for various current and future QAD business applications and integrations, including Factivity, Eagle Barcode, BarTender labeling, credit card processing, EDI, etc.
• Analyze, define, and document system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, and interfaces with other systems.
• Offer technical expertise and creative solutions on a day-to-day basis to address application/process errors, problems, or inquiries while supporting the business.

Skills for Success:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience using/supporting QAD Enterprise Applications (QAD EE).
• Functional knowledge of QAD EE ERP applications and integrations.
• Strong listening, written, and oral communication skills.
• Solid project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Excel, Project, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Proficient in most QAD Finance modules (AR, AP, GL, Costing, Consolidation, Allocations, Revaluations, Fixed Assets, etc.). Knowledge of Enterprise Financial versions is a plus.
• Good understanding of other QAD modules, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and EAM.
• Excellent and effective communication skills (verbal and written).
